About Claire Giffen

 

Claire’s interest in photography blossomed on a trip to Paris, where she discovered a new way of seeing life from behind the lens. In addition to her passion for photography, she loves reading about accomplished photographers, including Henri Cartier-Bresson and Annie Liebowitz. Claire studied photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and is currently majoring in Design at the University of San Francisco. One of her favorite black and white projects, “Atelier,” brought her into the workrooms and shops of antiques dealers, fashion designers, and printmakers. Claire loves life in San Francisco, and can be found walking the hills of the City on any given day, searching for inspiration and beauty.
